Horrible place...... cant find your way around the place and the food is terrible in the Clubhouse
Stayed 29th September till 5th October in gold caravan was absolutely beautiful very clean and tidy had a lovely week with my family and are definitely going to be booking another holiday again :)
I've been here a few times but not in the last 4 years. Things have changed, they've had a face lift which was nice, but there was too much trouble involving police and rowdiness for my liking, and children getting hurt in the play area because no one was watching them; not the caravan parks fault I know but I felt that I wouldn't be returning...
The park is well kept and regular security patrols, put your mind at ease. Regular acts on the club with some top faces, and the bar is reasonably priced. The Magpie and Stump attracts holiday makers from the other sites in the area.
We paid extra for a gold caravan. Not impressed with cleanliness. The water was hot if we had the radiators on too. The freezer hadn't got a cover, so couldn't keep ice cream. The grill could do 1toasted cheese at a time. We like the site. The clubhouse was good, the kids magician was very good. Kids play area was good.
