Fantastic accommodation and have a good choice of food well cooked with a choice of a la carte and carvery every night. Service is excellent, my waitress was very friendly, attentive, efficient and nothing was too much trouble for her. Fillet beef was the tendered I have ever tasted.
A Genuine master peice of a place, especially in the Summer months to go for a lovely spot of lunch. Views are pleasant and the food is of a high Quality. A out door chess board as well with oversize peices for the avid players comes with a nice touch. Tours of the grounds are interesting and the staff friendly enough. Little gem of a place to visit.
Great place to visit. Great outdoors. Plenty to do for the whole family. But no dogs allowed.
Superb day out for the family, the house/castle are beautiful with a war museum and Victorian games. We saw deer in the grounds where there are extensive woodland walks and open spaces. Highly recommended :)
Really lovely castle and gardens. Has a large play area and a maze for the kids. Quite a bit of history for the older ones. A good all round day out. Small downside is limited choice of food from the on site cafe but a great place for a picnic. You can also choose to pay for just the gardens or the castle and gardens.
