The lads themselves were fantastic, very competent . . . and the move progressed without a hitch, I even tipped them all for their efforts. The owners however were both miserable and difficult to deal with. Each time I went to their office for boxes, tape, etc they generally had faces like smacked arses and offered no niceties whatsoever. But what really wound me up was the way in which I was treated at the end of the job. As soon as the van drove away, I telephoned to make final payment but their card reader wasn't working and I didn't feel comfortable giving all my card details out over the phone AGAIN (I'd already been on the phone for 10 minutes with them trying to make payment!!) so I said I would drive over their home to make payment in person. Unfortunately I was delayed slightly and did not arrive for 30mins, when I got their I was appalled to note that they had got the heavies round!!! They must have assumed that I had decided not to pay and had telephoned the biggest lad from the team (who I had tipped earlier) to come round . . . he was arriving just as I was and they told him to leave as soon as they saw me pull up so it was obvious what they'd done . . . bless them, not the brightest nor the politest
