OMG - Tim - You need to get a grip of your company. At great expense we sent our circuit board to your company. No contact from you for weeks even as to whether it was received or not. Our response back was "yes its arrived we cannot fix it due to the fault" Nothing more, no explanation, no I'll return it, no sorry it can't be fixed. Just spoken to this man who tells me he hasn't got time to explain to people why he can't fix things as he's so busy. "It's a software problem - there you are, you know now. You're no better off now are you". I cannot believe just how rude this man was to me. How much longer TIM would it have taken you to write "Sorry, your machine cannot be fixed as it's a software problem" Would you like your circuit board returning? Instead, I have to phone you up and be spoken to like that as if I'm not entitled to know why you can't fix it. Now I'm told I can get in touch with a courier myself and sort out the return of my circuit board. Well thank you very much. Please everyone. Read this review. I very rarely do reviews, but when I'm spoken to like that because I had the cheek to ask what was wrong with my machine and could I have the board returned, I think people should know what they are getting into. I think a few books on Customer Service might be worth reading if you want your business to continue.
Have to agree that communication is pretty poor, but the repair worked, and my machine now runs flawlessly. Obviously, whether it is value for money is debatable, might have been something really simple on the control board, but you pay for people experience I guess. What I will say, once we had been told what was wrong and I had paid, the board was back in my hands the very next day.
Nice guy. Seems really busy, and his communication is poor, but he fixed my circuit board, my treadmill now works and i shouldn't moan.
The guy knows what he is going on about although his communication skills are very very poor and he never replies to emails. He gave us false hope regarding a part for our treadmill to get it fixed, three months down the line he has not done what he said he would do so we sorted the problem ourselves. My advise is do not rely on this guy!! He will never get around to calling you back or replying to emails he is hopeless...
Not good. I bought, via Ebay, a heart rate monitor belt to use with my Kettler exercise bike. The belt has a sealed battery which cannot be changed. I can only assume that it was very old stock because the battery was totally flat.It cost me 2.40p to return it and The Treadmill Doctor refused to refund the postage. So, beware, if you buy a faulty product from The Treadmill Doctor you will lose out because he operates by his own rules.
Gave me good advice over the phone. Top bloke.
